The candidates can apply for the NET exam from October 15th, 2018 at the official website.
CBSE NET Exam Pattern
The CBSE NET Notification 2018 consists of three papers. Each of the three papers will consist of objective type questions. The detailed information about the three papers of the exam is given below:
Paper I: The first paper is conducted for 100 marks. Totally 60 questions are asked. The form that, the candidates have to attend 50 questions. The duration for this paper is 1 ¼ hours.
Paper II: The second paper is conducted for 100 marks. There are 50 questions are asked. The candidates have to attend the 50 questions compulsorily. The duration for the second paper is also 1 ¼ hours.
Paper III: Finally, the third paper is conducted. The third paper is conducted for 150 marks. There are 75 questions is asked. The candidates must compulsorily attend the 75 questions. The duration for the third paper is 2 ½ hours.
This exam is an objective type exam. There is an Optical Mark Reader OMR sheet is provided for all the candidates. The candidates have to mark the corresponding answers in the CBSE NET Notification 2018.
The CBSE NET Exam Fee and Mode of Payment 2018
For General category candidates the examination fee is Rs.600 /-
For other Backward Classes, the examination fee is Rs.300/-
For SC/ST and PWD candidates, the examination fee is Rs.150/-
Mode of Payment
The candidates can pay the examination fee for the NET exam by two modes.
By using the credit or debit card
By using the e-Challan – the candidates can use the e- Challan that was generated during the time of online application.
