For junior research fellowship- aspiring candidate must have an M.Tech or equivalent degree with 55 % minimum marks. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, minimum marks will be 50%.
For assistant professor- candidate must be a Ph.D. degree holder with 50 % marks in master degree.
CBSE NET Online Registration for the Candidate’s age must be 28 years maximum while 5 years upper age relaxation is given to SC, ST and OBC candidates according to Indian govt. rule.
CBSE NET Online Application Fee details:
For general category candidates, the application fee is Rs. 1000/- only.
OBC category candidate has to pay Rs. 500/- while SC and ST candidates will pay Rs. 250/-.

After CBSE NET Online Registration applying for the NET exam, candidates are starting their preparation. They are looking for syllabus and exam pattern. The exam will be held in 2 sessions. Both sessions will be on same day. Session 1 has 2 papers: the paper I and paper II. Session 2 has only one paper which is paper III.
Paper, I will have 60 questions for 75 minutes. You have to do only 50 questions from 60 questions. Each question will be of 2 marks and Paper I will be of 100 marks. Paper I has questions from teaching aptitude, reasoning, research knowledge and English.
Paper II will consist 50 questions and you have to attempt all of the questions. Paper II will also of 100 marks. Paper II will have questions from your particular subject and you must have deep knowledge of your subject.
